Everyday Health is hiring! We are looking for a dynamic and highly detail-oriented Sr. Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team! As part of our tight-knit team, you’ll manage numerous high-profile projects of strategic importance to the business as we work together to create a digital experience that helps consumers live healthier lives every day.

The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for simultaneously managing multiple interdisciplinary projects ranging from small-scale maintenance issues to complex new product releases. The Project Manager works closely with a variety of stakeholders -- including business stakeholders, product managers, software developers, quality assurance engineers and network operations engineers -- to assess scope and balance product requirements with time and cost constraints while meeting quality standards.


  • Manage the day-to-day execution of assigned projects to ensure processes are followed, deliverables align with original specifications, and projects are on time and within budget
  • Define and manage Scrum/Agile teams, Sprint Schedule and goals; as well as managing backlog as part of the CSM model
  • Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria
  •  Develop and track integrated project plans, including scopes of work, requirements, detailed schedules, and specifications
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Develop detailed project schedules, outlining tasks and activity dependencies
  • Develop detailed reporting against sprints, project success and areas of improvement as defined against the CSM model 
  •  Assess risk and provide solutions and mitigation plan in collaboration with the technical and product teams
  •  Facilitate the necessary reviews and approvals on all components
  •  Manage expectations of management and set realistic project goals; provide status and reporting against these goals
  • Establish and maintain project  communications with the internal team, including executive team
  •  Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects
  •  Ensure a positive, collaborative work environment for the team
  •  Coordinate with third party technologies and partners
  • Facilitate cross functional time tracking against project goals


  • 5+ years of cross-functional online project management experience; familiarity with online content publishing and mobile development a plus
  • Experience managing multiple full-project life-cycles from discovery to final delivery
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is essential
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently coordinate and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment, while taking into consideration stakeholders based across multiple time zones globally
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Familiarity with web-based technologies and the systems used to support major sites, including ad targeting tools, customer relationship management systems, and user analytics tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability and desire to meet deadlines and deliver results with minimal supervision by creatively using existing resources in an innovative and/or meaningful way
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of application of financial concepts to software development capitalization a plus
  • Excellent Computer Skills including Jira, Confluence, the MS project suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, Project and PowerPoint) required
