As the Digital Research Manager for Ziff Davis Tech & Commerce, you will be a key part of the team responsible for analyzing, crafting and packaging data-driven insights and stories about our ZDT&C audience to better inform our editorial, product, and sales strategies. You will have access to leading third party analytics tools and Ziff Davis Tech’s internal audience data, along with the opportunity to conduct original research. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to expand their research skills and to have an immediate impact on the bottom line of the business. You will be joining a dynamic Marketing team, reporting to the Research Director.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day to day liaison with our sales teams, providing support for all client research requests through training, consultancy, and creation of decks and other research materials.
  • Be the expert on our Ziff Davis Tech & Commerce audience, through a mastery of our numerous data platforms including comScore, Google Analytics, and Ziff Davis’s propriety solutions.
  • Help identify and analyze key trends regarding brand positioning, competitive intelligence, and audience insights. Craft reports to highlight these insights for management, the sales team, and clients.
  • Administer online surveys across Ziff Davis tech sites, including questionnaire development, hosting, data analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a research, insights, or analytics role.
  • You are naturally inquisitive, an analytical and creative thinker, and enjoy uncovering fresh insights.
  • You have proven experience with research platforms such as comScore, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, online survey tools, and/or third party research tools.
  • You have the ability to pull together multiple data sources to derive new insights and conclusions and are comfortable making assumptions around missing information.
  • You have excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to present complex research into clean and simple stories.
  • You are a self-starter with excellent project and time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Knowledge of the digital advertising industry required.
  • Tableau and light SQL experience a plus.
  • Passion for consumer and B2B technology is a plus.
