IGN Entertainment is a leading Internet media and services provider focused on the video game & entertainment enthusiast markets. We are the web's number one video game information destination and attract one of the largest concentrated audiences of young males on the Internet.


IGN is looking for an experienced media professional with a strong point of view and deep understanding of both games media and digital advertising to drive our product monetization strategy. This person will lead a team focused on monetization opportunities both on IGN O&O as well as our expanding portfolio of platforms including Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube and beyond. (Beyond!)



  • Define strategies that leverage O&O and platform presence to maximize revenue.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop new ad products to meet market needs.
  • Work with team to develop and distribute ad product marketing materials.
  • Create new partnerships with platforms to extend IGN reach and generate new revenue streams.
  • Manage contract negotiations and onboard new partners and technology vendors.
  • Educate and train internal teams on industry trends including ad viewability, ad blocking, programmatic buying, header bidding, native ads and audience extension.


  • 7-10 years experience in digital media, ideally in product, marketing or sales roles, with a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to clearly present new ideas and products to various teams.
  • Experience working in a cross-team environment and collaborating on product features and goals.
  • Great relationship skills, with the ability to drive a hard bargain with a would-be partner and still maintain a friendly, productive relationship.
  • Ability to step outside a set role and take new ideas and concepts to fruition.
