With over 125 sites across multiple platforms, Ziff Davis Tech & Commerce, the largest tech publisher in the US, is looking for an intern to join our dynamic Marketing department.  We are seeking a candidate who will contribute a polished communication style, a methodical and revenue-focused approach and a positive, collaborative energy to our team.


  • Join proposal-related brainstorms to learn industry technique and share campaign ideas.
  • Learn the basics of a pitch and partner with Marketing Managers to create elements of upcoming sales proposals.
  • Use digital media analytics tools such as Google Analytics and comScore to gather audience data and create data boards supportive of upcoming pitches.
  • Use sales prospecting tools such as Winmo and Moat to prospect for new clients.
  • Follow industry trades, media dashboards and other analytics tools to provide weekly analysis of competitive landscape
  • Use rich media platform reporting interfaces to track and report rich media ad unit performance. Assist marketing staff in creating campaign recap decks, articulating ROI to clients.
  • Use design tools and presentation software to create creative mocks for pitch decks.
  • Assist with trade marketing efforts such as creation of social media content calendar, premium items, mailings, etc.
  • Build network with other creative, editorial, marketing, business and management professionals around our organization through weekly 1x1 meetings.
  • Other duties, as assigned.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, collaborative attitude
  • Extensive knowledge of digital and social media
  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a plus
