Everyday Health is seeking a dedicated, highly focused, and committed Director level candidate for our Healthcare Professional (HCP) division. The Everyday Health HCP team is responsible for and a network of physician and other clinician properties. Overall we reach >750 thousand practicing physicians in the US with the most up to date medical news and information.


This role will be focused on building, deploying and optimizing both short term and long term automated marketing campaigns to grow, engage and register an HCP audience across our portfolio of web, mobile and newsletter properties. The ideal person will be a highly motivated team player who is able think both strategically and tactically, has excellent interpersonal and analytical skills and is interested in helping support senior management of the HCP group to build, engage and analyze our audience of HCPs across the portfolio of products. This includes conceptualizing; analyzing, optimizing and deploying the products and systems we to use attract, engage and convert our audience as well as making use of all available marketing channels including paid search, display and social media to reach, engage and convert HCPs into loyal readers. This may take the form of utilizing first and/or third party data driven marketing solutions as well as driving the development of new systems.


We are looking for a highly analytical individual with the creativity to envision product level solutions to marketing problems and drive their implementation across the organization.


It is expected that this person will need to be a strong cross functional leader who can demonstrate the impact of the solutions they propose in order to build consensus and coordinate efforts across the Product, Tech, Data and Editorial teams.


About the Work: 

  • Oversee the development and implementation of data driven marketing automation solutions, including those designed to impact audience identification, activation, engagement and registration
  • Maintain a data driven view into the effectiveness of all systems designed to engage the Everyday Health HCP audience
  • Work with the business intelligence team to develop enterprise level reports and dashboards to monitor the impact of efforts to engage our HCP audience
  • Develop a deep understanding of our healthcare professional audience based on data compiled across our portfolio of properties
  • Provide insight and direction to improve campaign performance and effectiveness
  • Assist HCP group management in evaluating new market opportunities and partnerships though research, analysis and modeling
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to define and execute audience expansion


About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus)
  • You consider yourself an expert of online market places and bidding systems
  • You have expert understanding of web metrics, digital media testing methodology and optimization strategies
  • You're a self-starter and work with minimal supervision to initiate and complete tasks individually and requiring input from multiple sources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Very strong Excel modeling, visualization and PowerPoint skills
  • Understanding of digital media required, advertising industry knowledge a plus
  • Understanding of email marketing is a must and knowledge of newsletter driven business is a plus
  • Must be outgoing, proactive, friendly, and work well under pressure
