Overview

The Director of Strategic Partnerships, IRx Team, will be responsible for selling the Everyday Health Professional Gain Share offering, IRx, to clients. This position is on a new specialty team focused on partnering with pharma clients to grow scripts powered by our Gain Share model. You’ll be acquiring new accounts and growing existing ones.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong digital and/or multi-channel salesperson to work for and with a winning team and develop new business, within a leading, high-growth digital and multi-media organization, and to bring this innovative model to a larger account and target list.

 

The ideal candidate is a results-driven, proactive, entrepreneurial, solutions oriented revenue producer, with deep client and agency contacts; you’re someone who can work independently, is self-motivated and has a track record of exceeding sales quotas.  Candidates will have a proven track record in digital HCP sales.

Responsibilities

About the Job:

  • Drive new business by prospecting new and existing clients and agencies with a relentless focus on closing business
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Successfully partner with pharma accounts to increase our total gain share business.
  • Successfully negotiate sales commitments, both for new and renewal accounts, that are consistent with the company’s business objectives
  • Respond to and close RFPs with a sense of urgency
  • Work with marketing and site/product-specific sales leads, and post-campaign sales support leads to create effective and compelling sales materials, presentations and client follow-up documents
  • Monitor, forecast, track and report sales performance

Qualifications

About You:

  • You have 5+ years of non-personal sales experience; 3 years of successful digital sales experience in the HCP space
  • You have a proven track record in gaining access and outstanding sales performance within the Pharma space
  • Demonstrated excellence in business relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong contacts within Pharma space
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently – You’re self-motivated, knowledgeable and have a passion for success
  • You’re a strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Exceptional selling, presentation, negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work well internally with other departments (marketing, operations, site directors) and internal stakeholders
  • You have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, and a sense of humor
  • You’re a self-starter with the ability to work independently and you have superior communication skills
  • Travel as needed
