The Senior Manager, Acquisition Marketing will advertise Everyday Health’s subscription diet plan on platforms like Google, Bing, Facebook, OutBrain, LinkShare and others. Reporting to the Head of Audience, they will be responsible for optimizing online advertisements viewed by millions of internet users each day.  They will understand our digital audience, what drives users to engage with our content and how we can best serve their needs. The role requires an analytical and creative mind to perform the analyses and interpret them as well as communicate them to a wide audience, all with the goal of supporting our mission.  It is expected that this individual will assume increasing responsibilities over time, driving strategy and making decisions based upon the knowledge base they build by analyzing program effectiveness.


  • Drive acquisition channel performance to meet new customer and revenue targets within CPA and ROI constraints and perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis across channels
  • Oversee direct response programs including Paid Search, Social, Display Advertising, Retargeting, Affiliate Marketing and evaluate and explore other marketing channels
  • Drive marketing analytics and build dashboard for key metrics
  • Develop optimization strategies by creating and implementing a strong framework for iterative A/B testing
  • Manage email/newsletter testing and execution
  • Develop and manage the long-term plan to meet larger business objectives, and drive both short and long-term planning and strategic initiatives
  • Work across the organization to optimize campaigns, including design, social, content, analytics and technology
  • Develop, maintain and distribute budgets/forecasts for financial performance across our marketing channels


  • Proven: You have 5+ years of experience in media or affiliate marketing, SEM, and web analytics.  We also welcome degrees in business administration, marketing, statistics, math, economics, quantitative science, and data science.  Prior direct marketing experience a plus.  Experience with Adobe Analytics preferred (Omniture Site Catalyst).
