Overview

Everyday Health is a leading provider of digital health and wellness solutions.  Everyday Health’s consumer-focused properties include online content, interactive tools and applications designed to allow consumers to manage a broad array of health and wellness needs.  The Consumer team is looking for a dynamic Production Editor to join our team. 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

 

Programming:

  • Collaborate across digital groups including editorial and product development, audience development, marketing, research, production, creative services, and technology to ensure optimized delivery of content for users across a variety of platforms
  • Collaborate in the development of analytics-driven content experiences
  • Work with IT/Development teams on requirements gathering, issue logging and tracking and ongoing maintenance of all platforms/tools
  • Work with decision-makers to understand the growth of the business and executing against that strategy

 

Production:

  • You will be responsible for using Content Management Systems to upload and approve creative elements
  • Help with the testing and launch of desktop and mobile websites for all global properties
  • Develop, maintain, and execute superior standards of production
  • Crafting health and wellness promotion/copy across platforms and products to achieve strategic and operational business goals
  • Work with site editors accountable for content and product development
  • Work within editorial calendars, existing work flow and team structures to deliver best in class editorial content including, landing pages, emails, collection page headers and more
  • Help troubleshoot any issues and help track fixes by working closely with the technology teams
  • Facilitate cross functional communication around all production activities

 

Process Management:

  • Work with Content Director and Manager, contributing in new process development and process optimization, using a critical eye to make sure we are working efficiently.
  • Help to manage key tools and processes such as content management, code repository & image hosting
  • Assist with web production process definition, optimization and implementation
  • Help to manage day-to-day efforts to ensure smooth and efficient website updates including production updates, trafficking creative assets, and collaborating on new site initiatives across all content properties

 

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Experience with project management
  • Familiarity with web and video publishing tools, and basic HTML
  • Familiarity working across popular social media platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization and time management skills
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
