This newly created role will analyze various human resource programs and initiatives for 1,400 (and growing) employees worldwide. At Ziff Davis, we use data to drive our business goals. This role will report to the Director, Global HR Operations and will be based in our NYC Corporate Office. We are looking for a highly organized and vastly analytical thinking individual who loves to compile data from multiple sources and present these findings to drive both M & A activity and total rewards decisions for the company. Of course, discretion in dealing with confidential information is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis - sometimes with large data sets - to identify trends, discover anomalies, evaluate shortcomings and highlight successes with ease
  • Extract data from internal applications, spreadsheets and external vendors to support compensation, benefits and employee engagement activities
  • Since you are a storyteller, you will create compelling, detailed and organized PowerPoint presentations for different audiences including management, employees and external vendors
  • Maintain (or build) several sophisticated reporting dashboards to easily relay high level data – the what, why, and how - to inform key stakeholders
  • Analyze healthcare benefit plan offerings to identify cost effective and comprehensive options for a nationwide employee population
  • Design, review and interpret incentive compensation plans across all business units in collaboration with FP&A including reporting on a quarterly basis
  • Lead year-end merit and bonus process for global staff
  • Gathers and evaluates internal records and applies statistical calculations to establish comparisons with related industry employers

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience and success working in several areas of HR with emphasis on high growth from multiple acquisitions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, mathematics, or business analysis
  • Strong and well-rounded project management experience, time management skills, attention to detail and track record in delivering projects to maximize benefit while minimizing risk
  • Excellent communication skills (especially in writing) to express complex thoughts, particularly in building relationships with business leaders, vendors, HR partners and employees
  • Understanding of (or interest in learning) relevant employment laws and IRS regulations
  • You are an Excel whiz – You can do VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables in your sleep,  VBA SUMIFs, nesting and charts while you are awake and make Excel do cartwheels
  • Experience with Tableau and HR systems is a plus
  • You love pie… charts
