Overview

The Account Executive is primary contact for pharma brand managers and agency account executives for a variety of brands on a variety of Everyday Health Pro platforms. Assigned a list of accounts for which he/she is responsible, the account executive is the face of EH Pro, effectively executing campaigns upon receipt of IO or SOW from client calls, to reporting, and managing client expectations and timelines. The platforms employed will include but are not limited to digital media campaigns, email campaigns, and other tactics aimed at increasing physician awareness and utilization of specific pharmaceutical brands. The account executive thinks strategically with ability to focus on details of tactical issues and collaborate with a dynamic cross-functional team of the company’s sales, sales strategy, MLR, design, deployment, and operations staff. As such, the account executive is a highly-organized communicator, both verbally and in written form.

 

The Account Executive may have opportunity to manage one or two coordinators to gain personnel management and growth experience by supporting their training needs and assisting in the mapping of their professional trajectory.

Responsibilities

  • Build solid client relationship and serve as day-to-day contact with agency / media buyer reps and pharmaceutical brand managers regarding program strategies and tactics 

  •  Support sales and recommend organic sales opportunities for client campaign renewals and incremental business

  •  Provide key learnings and insight on campaign performance to internal stakeholders

  •  Use dashboard to provide key campaign performance metrics and reporting

  •   Work with data and deployment team to ensure list match accuracy and delivery

  • Engage with management and other departments to ensure promotional campaigns are developed and implemented to ensure optimum results

  •  Provide a high level understanding of the brand’s clinical experience, positioning, messaging, and differentiation from competitive products

  • Manage campaign pacing & optimization with cross-functional partners, and monthly billing reconciliations to ensure monthly, quarterly and program revenue expectations are met

  • Monitor results for campaigns and ensure each pharmaceutical brand receives appropriate visibility on digital platforms

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of EH Pro products, inventory and pricing via collaboration with internal departments

  •  For gain share partners:

    o   Working with existing strategic imperatives and key issues provided by the client, develop a comprehensive program plan that identifies an appropriate promotion mix that is consistent with the brands positioning and core messaging

    o   Working with company’s internal design team to create, develop, and execute the promotional and medical education plan / initiatives (includes interactive and traditional marketing to healthcare professionals), and monitoring market dynamics and competition

Qualifications

About You:

 

  • You have a 4 Year degree and some agency experience under your belt
  • You’re a strong communicator with superior listening and problem solving skills
  • You have the ability to understand the medical / pharmaceutical industry regulatory environment, their organizing principles and business models
  • You have a passion for new and emerging technologies and an understanding of how they can be applied to benefit businesses
  • You have an understanding of digital content, marketing platforms/delivery systems and their business models
  • You have the ability to rapidly assimilate clinical information, market research data, and prescriber data, to effectively develop strategic and tactical plans that are consistent with existing sales and marketing objectives
  • You have experience working in positions with high personal accountability combined with the ability and experience to influence decision-making
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and can manage multiple parallel projects at once
  • Your ability to collaborate and work well with internal stakeholders (sales, sales strategy, editorial, design, MLR, marketing, operations, development, site directors) makes you an asset
  • You have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, a sense of humor, and are a self-starter
  • Willingness to travel as needed required
